Iran’s ‘Home’ wins nomination at Heroes IFF

Iranian animation ‘Home’ has received a nomination at the Heroes International Film Festival in Italy.

‘Home’, written and directed by Hamed Azizi, is nominated for the best film award in the Graduation Movies category of the Italian event.

‘Home is a one-minute science-fiction film about protecting the environment.

“So far, so close, everyone is looking forward to returning to their origin and their hearts rest at home. Let’s protect our home,” a synopsis for the film reads

The Heroes International Film Festival is “the first Italian Festival focusing on "genre" movies and series for theatres, TV and online broadcasting focused on sci-fi, fantasy, horror, thriller, action-adventure, cinecomics and cross-over films, short movies and series”, an online submission platform reads.

The 3rd edition of the festival will take place in Rome on November 24-26.
